The strength of Louisiana's economy is directly linked to a strong middle class. Over the last eight years, our middle class has been squeezed by Bobby Jindal's disastrous and failed policies of trickle-down economics. In order to strengthen our middle class, we must make college more affordable, expand vocational training, and provide health care to the roughly 200,000 uninsured Louisianians by expanding Medicaid.

Ultimately, we can grow our small businesses and industries by investing in a skilled and trained workforce.
