Issue Position: Coastal Erosion

Saving the Louisiana coastline must remain a paramount issue for the entire Louisiana Legislature and our new governor. We lose nearly 25 square miles of land every year. My facility is not far from the eroding coastline. I have built my own levee system around my facility and we are constructing new buildings 20 feet higher in preparation.
After restructuring our state budget, we must secure funds within the new balanced budget--along with federal funds--to complete the levee project and save our coasts without increasing the tax burden on the citizens of our great state.

* History would never forgive the leaders who allow South Louisiana to wash away into the Gulf.
