Congresswoman Carolyn B. Maloney (NY-12) released the following statement on the terrorist attacks against Israeli civilians over the last few days:
"I am shocked and dismayed by the current wave of terrorist attacks on Israelis. Just as Israeli leaders have an obligation to condemn attacks on innocent Palestinian civilians, Palestinian leaders must loudly and publicly condemn these terrorist attacks and take all actions necessary to end the violence. Terror is not a path to peace and these attacks will do nothing to advance a Palestinian state. Instead, these attacks will only lead to increased tension, bloodshed and violence in a region that can hardly stand anymore."
