Today, Rep. Candice Miller (MI-10) issued the following statement after Congressman Dan Benishek announced he will retire at the end of his current term:

"Throughout his service in the U.S. House, Dr. Dan has tirelessly advocated for the constituents of Michigan's 1st Congressional District and has been an especially staunch advocate for American veterans and Michigan's natural wonders, like our magnificent Great Lakes and the Sleeping Bear Dunes. I thank Dr. Dan for his outstanding service to his constituents, the state of Michigan, and this nation, and I look forward to continuing our service together for the remainder of the 114th Congress."
