Issue Position

I am working to promote greater innovation, choice, and affordability at both the primary and secondary education levels. Our education system works best when states and local school boards have the flexibility to utilize resources in a manner which best addresses the unique needs of each student. This cannot be done when our educators are forced to adhere to arbitrary and outdated federal standards set thousands of miles away from the classroom. We must remove burdensome federal red tape so our world-leading education institutions can offer a variety of innovative and affordable programs designed to better prepare the next generation of Americans for success.
