Shaheen Statement on the Retirement of Manchester Police Chief David Mara

U.S. Senator Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH) released the following statement on the announced retirement of Manchester Police Chief David Mara:

"Police Chief David Mara has demonstrated incredible commitment to the city of Manchester and its residents during his tenure leading the Department. Since 1986, David has served Manchester in uniform and has earned the respect and trust of its people while facing incredible challenges such as the growing problem of heroin and prescription drug addiction. I wish him the best in the next chapter of his career."
