"MSCOPFF represents professional IAFF members across the state. ensuring equitable and safe working conditions while leading through participation. The Montana State Council of Professional Fire Fighters was organized to: promote organization of all Fire Fighters through locals in affiliation with the IAFF, promote legislation affecting the Fire Fighters such as pension, collective bargaining, arbitration, working conditions and measures pertaining to health, welfare and safety, promote improvement in fire fighting and fire prevention methods through education, instruction and research, encourage fellowship among all members."
