The 535 members of Congress are against this because they are all millionaires whose personal taxes would go up. With a new innovative financial instrument, The US Mortgage Savings Bond we can cash out all the bank's mortgage holdings with the US Savings Bonds, rewrite the mortgages at a fixed reasonable rate, tack non-interest bearing 2nd's on the backs of upside down deals, and apply the interest on the 60 million home mortgages toward the interest on the national debt. | |||
