My three top priorities would include: 1-Educational funding at all levels, including, in particular, free preschool for ALL children for the State of Indiana would be funded by accepting federal tax dollars that have already been offered and state tax dollars. 2-Local and state road infrastructure spending including local and bridge funding. Tippecanoe County Commissioners recently voted for a small tax increase for bridge funding. 3-Mental Health and addiction services funding needs to be a priority in Indiana. The state needs to appropriate funding for these areas and if necessary raise alcohol and cigarette taxes by a small amount. |
