Name one thing you would most like to do before you die:

Witness the creation of a secular, democratic state in Historic Palestine, where Jews, Christians, and Muslims live under one Constitution with equal rights, like we have in the United States. I've been advocating this for over 35 years, and my county (Grant in Washington State) adopted this resolution I introduced in 1990 and reaffirmed in 2010 and 2012.

Person Most Want to Meet (Dead or Alive):

President Obama, as I campaigned for him, putting my heart, my soul, and my pocketbook in his campaign the first time he ran for president. I had a chance to meet with him on February 29, 2008 at Brownsville at the Gulf of Mexico, when he came to have breakfast with the preachers. I was only 20 miles away, but I choose not to go so that I did not undermine his campaign, as being a Palestinian and a Muslim. The second time I went to Oso in Washington State a few months ago and was waiting to meet him, but I was prevented by the secret service, who told me I had to set up a meeting with him through the White House and not in Oso. My letters while campaigning, and when he became president, proves that my analysis was very accurate and 80% of his speech to the Muslim world from Cairo on May 30, 2009 came from my extensive letter to the White House. I wanted to tell him that there is no transparency in the White House. His advisors used my analysis as a think tank or research, but they never gave me credit.

Personal Hero and Why:

Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), as he was a prophet, great leader, legislature, commander in chief, a husband, a father, a grandfather, tolerant and kind to Muslims and non-Muslims. His life was perfect for all mankind from now since his preaching until the end of the world. Unfortunately, he is misunderstood many times by some in the West and by some Muslim fanatics.

Priority Issues:

Peace and reconciliation among the people and bridge the gap between the United States and the Arab and Muslim world through business relationship, as business, and not war, promotes peace. I would like the United States to uphold our values for democracy, human rights, and free election in the Arab and Muslim world, as I am absolutely against dictatorships and oppression, like what happened in Egypt, Syria, Iraq, and others. Those Muslim extremists in those countries came because of dictatorships, lack of education, and lack of jobs. I would like the United States to withhold monetary support to Israel, as well as the Arab governments. I feel that the pro-Israel Jewish Zionists and Christian Zionists should pay for Israel and the oil rich Arab countries of the Gulf should pay for the poor Arab countries, including Palestine. We should concentrate our monetary support to poor countries in Africa to fight diseases, such as AIDS and now Ebola virus. The United States should be only a catalyst to help those governments if they want to help themselves and are democratic, upholding human rights.

Publications:

There is a large amount of comments to internet articles through Yahoo, Google, and Al Jazeera America in my Public Facebook, Dr.Mohammad Said, and my website, drsaid.net, is full of letters, analyses, and meetings with leaders around the world. I am also in the process of completing publication about interfaith dialog and the comparison among the Holy Books - The Bible, The Gospels, and the Qur'an, which will be published in the very near future. I intend to write articles very soon, which will be posted in my website, AmericanHoopoe.com (under construction), and some will be sent for publication in major American newspapers.

Reason for Seeking Public Office:

I want to do good for the people, as I am in the center and not a politician. I am conservative in some issues, liberal in others, and most important, I am on my own, with experience which sprouted over 60 years to put at the service of the people.
