Favorite Quote:
"You cannot help the poor by destroying the rich. You cannot strengthen the weak by weakening the strong. You cannot lift the wage earner by pulling the wage payer down. You cannot further the brotherhood of man by inciting class hatred. You cannot build character and courage by taking away people's initiative and independence. You cannot help people permanently by doing for them, what they should be doing for themselves." - unknown
"Life is hard, and even harder if you're stupid." - John Wayne
Reason for Seeking Public Office:
Something I wanted to do for a few years now. I ran as an independent in 2010 and did well. I received the most votes of any independent in over 20 years of elections. I am still concerned about many issues and the timing is right. I believe I am not alone in thinking that Lansing needs some new faces. I'm tired of complaining, so I decided to run again. I thank God for living in a country where an average guy can run for an office and help bring some common sense, hard working values to the table in Lansing.
