Priority Issues:

PROPERTY TAXES: They are out of control. I fought the Clark County
Assessors' Office and won. I had my property taxes reduced by $68,000. I want to use that knowledge to help change the system for those that don't have the skill or time to fight against the County.

FAMILY WAGE JOBS: Not just words but action. I visited Minnesota to bring a wind turbine factory here. I spoke with a Norwegian company to manufacture solar panels here. We cannot remain a world power if we do not manufacture goods here.

CLARK CASINO: Opposed. We do not have the infrastructure to add 60,000
more cars to the highways.

LIGHT RAIL: Opposed. Too expensive at $250 million per mile. Use commuter rail: Battle Ground to Vancouver to Portland; Washougal to Camas to Vancouver to Portland; Kelso to Portland with stops in Kalama, Woodland, Ridgefield and Vancouver. Faster, cheaper, better.

EDUCATION: The paramount duty of the State.

UNLIKE JOE ZARELLI: I have never been arrested, been arrested with cocaine, declared bankruptcy, or collected over $12,000 to which I was not entitled from the Washington Department of Revenue Unemployment Fund.

TURN THE PAGE: Vote for a fresh start. Be proud of your State Senator.
