Favorite Vacation Spot:
Any National Park! I have been to Acadia, the Everglades, Rocky Mountain, the Great Smokies, the Grand Canyon, Arches, Yosemite, Yellowstone, the Tetons, Dinali, Kenai Peninsula, Katmai, and others! I love taking my children to these most amazing places!
Priority Issues:
1. A national single-payer health plan which will cover all Americans, funded through an income tax. This would cost our society no more than we pay now and provide care for all.
2. A low-interest loan program to help homeowners harden their homes against natural disasters - hurricanes, floods, and wildfires. This would lower incurance costs, reduce damagesd when disaster strikes, AND - put tens of thousands of American construction workers back to work!
Reason for Seeking Public Office:
Outrage - at the damage done to this nation by our current administration.
