Reason for Seeking Public Office:
Both our Federal and State Constitutions state that government's power should be derived from the people. I think that our representative should "represent" us (the people) instead of the special interests from which they get all their money.
We have a huge education crisis that is not being addressed even though we are the most heavily taxed state in the Southeast. Our current representative is nothing more than a 'rubber stamp' for the failed policies of a corrupt leadership that is not solving the problems facing our communities. They seem more interested in retaining their power than serving the people.
