Vote to table an amendment that would limit the terms of the staff director and general counsel to four years.
- Sets a 4 year term limit for the staff director or general counsel of the Federal Election Commission beginning on January 1, 1999.
- Allows the terms to be extended if agreed to by a majority of the Commission.
