Title: Prohibits Enforcement of Federal Greenhouse Gas Regulatory Program
Vote to pass a bill that prohibits any state agency from implementing or enforcing a federal greenhouse gas regulatory program.
-Prohibits any agency of the state of Montana from implementing or enforcing any federal regulation, rule, or policy related to a federal greenhouse regulatory program (Sec. 2).
-Prohibits state employees from participating on a board, study commission or related entity assigned to recommend provisions to implement any federal greenhouse gas regulatory program (Sec. 2).
-Exempts the following from the provisions of this act (Sec. 2):
-Voluntary actions taken by individuals to reduce greenhouse gas emissions;
-The state requirement to report motor vehicle emissions; and
-The public service commission's approval of an electricity supply resource.
