Vote to pass a bill that establishes the New Mexico Domestic Violence Leadership Commission.
-Establishes the New Mexico Domestic Violence Leadership Commission, comprised of 23 members appointed by the Governor (Sec. 1). -Authorizes the Governor to designate 1 member as the chair in which they are subject to a term limit of 2 years (Sec.1). -Requires the commission to meet no less than 6 times per year (Sec. 1). -Prohibits members of the commission from receiving compensation for their services instead they shall receive per diem and mileage as provided in the Per Diem and Mileage Act (Sec. 1). -Specifies that the New Mexico domestic violence leadership commission shall (Sec. 1):
