-Requires individuals under 18 years of age, attending a public school, and applying for a driver's license to provide a document signed by a parent or legal guardian giving his or her principal permission to notify the juvenile and domestic relations district court if the applicant has 10 or more consecutive unexcused absences (Sec. 1). -Authorizes students to show cause for the unexcused absences to the juvenile and domestic relations district court, and specifies that failure to show cause can result in a license suspension (Sec. 1). -Exempts students under the following circumstances (Sec. 1):
