U.S. Senator Gary Peters (MI) announced today that he is cosponsoring a Senate Resolution congratulating the United States Women's National Team on their victory in the FIFA Women's World Cup.

"I am extremely proud of the women of the American Women's National Team for representing our nation proudly on the world stage, and I congratulate them on bringing home the World Cup," said Senator Peters. "The strength and determination of this team captivated the nation, and I'm pleased to join my colleagues in recognizing and commemorating their efforts."
