After a "no" vote on Trade Promotion Authority, Congressman Blake Farenthold (TX-27) released the following statement.
"I am a strong proponent of free trade, but after six years of broken promises and false assurances from President Obama I could not support this legislation. Our border remains unsecured, our healthcare system is broken, and the President won't even enforce our laws. My constituents and I are not convinced that the President can be trusted with more power."
