Murphy Statement on Fatal Bus Crash Involving Fort Pierce Church Group

Today, U.S. Representative Patrick E. Murphy (FL-18) made the following statement on the fatal bus crash involving 18 people from the Independent Haitian Assembly of God in Fort Pierce. According to reports, eight people died in the crash.
"My thoughts and prayers are with everyone involved in this fatal accident," said Rep. Murphy. "Our first responders performed courageously at a critical time, and they are to be commended for their efforts. This is a tragedy for the families and friends of those who died and for our entire community. As details continue to unfold, we stand ready to support everyone who was impacted by this crash, and offer our heartfelt condolences to the entire community of the Independent Haitian Assembly of God."
