Issue Position

Isadore Hall believes that a sustainable economy is a strong economy. It is crucial to enact policies that actively address the impacts of climate change now -- before it is too late. It is imperative that we adjust our current policies and practices to create a more sustainable state and nation for the future.

While in the California legislature, Isadore was a part of the creation of California's cap and trade program -- which has served as a model for cap-and-trade programs around the world. Isadore Hall will work in Congress to institute cap and trade and to expand such programs to further protect the environment, because global warming is an issue that has no boundaries and an improved national policy can improve the lives of future generations.
