Issue Position

As a member of the House Armed Services Committee I am committed to ensuring that our military has the capability to keep this nation safe; I am also committed to providing for our veterans and their families.

The men and women who serve in the Armed Forces of this nation deserve the highest level of respect and we need to continue to honor the promises made to our veterans. I am proud to be a member of the Post 9/11 Veterans Caucus that will focus on issues affecting the newest generation of veterans and their families. I look forward to supporting many initiatives including ones that will help our veterans in need, successfully transition back to the civilian world.
