Today, Rep. Phil Roe, M.D. (R-TN) spoke at a House Republican Leadership Stakeout about his legislation to repeal the Independent Payment Advisory Board (IPAB).

Roe introduced bipartisan legislation to repeal the IPAB with Rep. Linda Sánchez on March 2, 2015, and the House is expected to vote on the bill this Thursday. H.R. 1190, the Protecting Seniors' Access to Medicare Act, repeals the sections of the Affordable Care Act that establish the IPAB. The bill has more than 230 bipartisan cosponsors and is supported by more than 500 organizations representing providers, patients, and the business community.
