Today Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R-WA) voted for four important bipartisan bills that improve the Medicare Advantage program for seniors.

The bills include H.R. 2505, the Medicare Advantage Coverage Transparency Act of 2015; H.R. 2507, the Increasing Regulatory Fairness Act of 2015; H.R. 2582, the Seniors' Health Care Plan Protection Act of 2015; and H.R. 2570, the Strengthening Medicare Advantage through Innovation and Transparency for Seniors Act of 2015. All four passed the House with bipartisan support.

McMorris Rodgers released the following statement after their passage:

"Today the House continued its work toward innovative and patient-centered health care reforms by strengthening Medicare Advantage for the millions of seniors who rely on it. The legislation we passed improves enrollment data, increases transparency, provides stakeholders more time for input, and allows seniors to choose and keep the plans that fit their needs. We made promises to our seniors, and I am pleased that we are taking important bipartisan steps to address the challenges, burdens, and unnecessary costs they face in our health care system."
