Less Time Dealing With Regulations, More Time Creating Jobs

House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy (CA-23) released the following statement on House passage of H.R. 2289, the Commodity End User Relief Act:

"Just about every part of government could use more transparency and accountability, including those regulatory agencies governing financial markets. The Commodity End User Relief Act reauthorizes the Commodity Futures Trading Commission and makes necessary reforms to protect customers and better regulate commodity markets. These reforms will give America's farmers, ranchers, small businesses, and manufacturers more certainty and better protection from business risks. That means less time dealing with burdensome regulations and more time spent creating jobs and serving customers."
