Issue Position

Madison and Ridgeland are known for great schools. I applaud the efforts of our local educators who are striving to provide our children with the best education possible. They have great innovative ideas that are too often stifled by federal mandates. In business, I've learned that innovation is key to growth and success. As state representative for the district, I will work to ensure that our local schools and parents have the resources they need to educate our children. That includes giving them the freedom to innovate at the local level and standing up against top-down federal approaches that burden our teachers with rules and paperwork.
