House Administration Committee Chairman Candice Miller (R-Mich.) and Ranking Member Bob Brady (D-Pa.) issued the following statement today concerning the Committee's review of current House regulations and practices with regards to official expenditures. The panel is led by Representatives Rodney Davis (R-Ill.) and Zoe Lofgren (D-Calif.). The Members said:

"Representatives Davis and Lofgren are in the initial stages of a comprehensive review of the regulations governing use and requirements of the Members' Representational Allowance (MRA). They intend to engage with many stakeholders to examine the exhaustive list of House procedures, requirements, and duties each Member is obligated to act in accordance with. Upon completion, they look forward to taking steps to ensure every office is provided with the education and resources they need to clearly understand all House Rules governing the MRA."
