Rep. Trott Talks Education and Opportunity During Elementary School Visits

U.S. Representative Dave Trott (MI-11) today visited three elementary schools in Canton and Livonia to read to students and speak with teachers and school administrators.

"Every mom and dad in Southeast Michigan deserves the very best education for their kids. The great work being done by teachers and administrators at South Canton, St. Michael's, and Bentley is emblematic of the excellent teachers and schools throughout our area. It also reinforces my belief that education decisions need to be made at the local level, not in Washington, DC. I think parents, teachers, and local school boards know better on how to educate our kids than bureaucrats in Washington," said Rep. Trott.

Rep. Trott read to students at South Canton Scholars Charter School, St. Michael's School, and Bentley Elementary.
