Today, Senator Richard Burr (R-NC) released the following statement after the President's veto of the Keystone XL Pipeline Approval Act. The Keystone Bill passed the Senate 62 to 36 and passed the House 266 to 153.
"The President has vetoed Congress's first jobs bill of 2015, Keystone XL. The legislation is a bipartisan, commonsense measure that garnered support with the American people and was granted a favorable ruling by the President's State Department."
"It's clear from the President's first veto that he has no intention on working with Congress to create jobs here."
