Individuals, families and small businesses in Mississippi understand the importance of setting a budget and living within their means. Congress has the power of the purse and just like individuals, families and small businesses Congress must always be vigilant of wasteful spending and cut wherever possible.

We cannot simply cut spending, we must also change the way we operate government. We have got to reduce the federal government and the amount of regulations and meddling in state business.
