Congressman Bruce Westerman (R-Hot Springs) issued the following statement in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day:

"On this day, we remember a man who fought for equality and liberty for all. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and the causes he fought for inspire me today as I work for the people of Arkansas's Fourth District. On this day designated to honor a great American, I urge all Arkansans to take a moment to reflect on the life and legacy of Dr. King."

Westerman attended the NAACP MLK Breakfast in Hot Springs on Saturday morning (January 17).
