U.S. Congressman Pete Sessions (R-TX-32), Chairman of the House Rules Committee and a Member of House Republican Leadership, today released the following statement applauding the ruling to halt President Obama's unlawful executive amnesty plan from the Southern District of Texas:
"Last night a federal judge in Texas halted the President's unwise, unlawful, and unconstitutional executive amnesty plan. I applaud the judge's action to preserve and protect our nation's rule of law and I look forward to continuing to fight against the President's lawless actions."
