Update on the Keystone XL Pipeline

Press Release

Date: Jan. 29, 2015
Location: Washington, DC
Issues: Oil and Gas

Today, the United States Senate moves closer to voting on the Keystone XL Pipeline.

Earlier this month, Congressman Poliquin joined his Republican and Democrat colleagues to help pass the Keystone XL Pipeline Act.

Due to the recent energy revival in America, hard-working Mainers are experiencing low prices to heat their homes this Winter. With all environmental safeguards in place, the Keystone XL Pipeline and the Natural Gas Pipeline Permitting Reform Act, which the Congressman supported, will help increase the production of natural gas and drive down the cost to heat our homes.

Congressman Poliquin will continue to monitor the status of the Keystone XL Pipeline as it moves through the Senate and on to the President's desk.
