Ross Votes to Pass the Hire More Heroes Act

U.S. Rep. Dennis A. Ross (R-FL-15), Senior Deputy Majority Whip, today voted to pass H.R.22, the Hire More Heroes Act of 2015. Ross is an original co-sponsor of this legislation.

"Men and women in uniform provide the very freedoms and prosperity this country has enjoyed for more than two hundred years, we owe them a debt we can never truly repay. I was proud to cosponsor and pass the Hire More Heroes Act of 2015 that will ensure the transition of veterans to civilian life is successful. This legislation will exempt veterans who are already receiving health care through Department of Defense or the Department of Veterans Affairs from being counted toward the number of employees required by the ObamaCare employer mandate, and encourage companies to employ more of America's veterans."
