Today, Governor Jindal issued the following statement on the results of Louisiana's runoff election.

Governor Jindal said, "Congratulations to Bill Cassidy, Garret Graves, and Ralph Abraham. Tonight, Louisianians rejected the rigid liberal ideology of President Obama and Mary Landrieu. Mary Landrieu and the President were both elected on the same day six years ago to bring hope and change to Washington. Instead, they brought the most liberal approach to governing this country has ever seen -- from the government takeover of health care, to a nearly $18 trillion national debt, to a weakening of American power and prestige internationally. The President was right, his policies were on the ballot this year, and Mary Landrieu is those policies' latest victim."
