U.S. Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell made the following statement after the Senate unanimously voted to confirm David Hale as United States District Judge for the Western District of Kentucky:
"Earlier this year, I voiced my support for David Hale before the Senate Judiciary Committee. Today, I am glad the Senate has confirmed David as United States District Judge for the Western District of Kentucky. David is an outstanding Kentuckian and is well qualified to serve on the federal bench. I believe he will faithfully interpret the law as written and continue to build upon his impressive record of public service to the people of the Commonwealth in this new role."
