House Republican Conference Chair Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R-WA) released the following statement today after the House passed H.R. 4795, the Promoting New Manufacturing Act, sponsored by Whip Steve Scalise (R-LA).

"As we advance jobs-focused solutions and embrace an all-of-the-above energy strategy, we will continue to help hardworking Americans reach new heights. By increasing transparency within the EPA and expediting the permitting process for new U.S. factories, we will create more good-paying manufacturing jobs across the country, bringing new life -- and new opportunities -- to Americans. I commend Majority Whip Steve Scalise (R-LA) for his efforts to hold the EPA accountable while creating thousands of new jobs for the American people."
