Renacci Votes To Strengthen Energy Security

Rep. Jim Renacci (OH-16) today released the below statement after voting to approve the Keystone XL Pipeline:

"I was proud to vote to build the Keystone Pipeline, which is central to an all-of-the-above energy strategy that will lead to strengthened energy security, lower energy costs, and ultimately our energy independence," said Renacci. "Sadly, the project has been blocked by the administration for more than six years for reasons that are purely political, and earlier this year one of the President's former closest advisers confirmed it. It is time that the administration sets politics aside and paves the way for the creation of thousands of American jobs by approving the Keystone Pipeline immediately."
