"I've lived my entire life in rural Arizona -- where honesty, respect and hard work are at our core. This district is unlike any other in the nation. From tribal lands to ranching communities to university towns, its diverse regions share a common thread of resilient people and remarkable landscapes.

"Folks here value authenticity and courage of conviction. And last night, rural Arizona stood up to Washington and gave its partisan games the boot.

"I am deeply honored that the voters of Arizona's First Congressional District have asked me to continue representing them. Now, let's get back to work."
