Location: Peabody, MA

Former Democratic candidate for MA-6 Marisa DeFranco endorsed Richard Tisei today, as reported by the Salem News.

"I am a common sense Democrat, and I am endorsing Richard Tisei, a common sense Republican. Although we are from different parties, we have many important things in common," DeFranco said. "We are both small business owners, we both have histories of advocating for those without a voice, and we both fight our party when we know they are wrong and we are right."

DeFranco also criticized Seth Moulton for raising at least $250,000 from Wall Street interests, accounting for 20% of his total campaign funds.

"The Democratic candidate is the big-money candidate in this race," DeFranco said. "He doesn't stand for change, he stands for more of the same: Wall Street fundraisers and out-of-state billionaire money."

Richard Tisei said he is extremely proud to have DeFranco's endorsement.

"I appreciate Marisa's confidence in me, and I have always admired her for putting people over party," Tisei said. "She knows that I will go to Washington and do what's right for Main Street, not Wall Street."
