McAllister's Statement on the Anniversary of 9/11

Statement

Date: Sept. 11, 2014
Location: Washington, DC

U.S. Rep. Vance McAllister (R-Swartz) issued the following statement commemorating the anniversary of the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001:

"Today, we honor the memory and pay tribute to those that were lost in the terrorist attacks thirteen years ago. None of us will ever forget where we were on that day or the pain these vicious acts caused so many. We express gratitude for the courage demonstrated by the first responders and others who endangered their own lives to save others, as well as our brave men and women in uniform who continuously fight to protect our homeland.

"As we have been reminded in recent months, our nation is still faced with dangerous enemies around the globe and the threat of terrorism still remains. We must fight against those who target our nation and its allies with evil intent to ensure the American people are free from harm."
