Funiciello Invites Woolf to Really Walk Across the Aisle and Endorse Him After Latest Poll

Reacting to new poll results Matt Funiciello invited Aaron Woolf to really walk across the aisle, drop out and endorse him. Funiciello, pointed out that Aaron Woolf's poll numbers have stagnated at 32%, and that Woolf isn't drawing from Republicans or independent voters, but that he is. Adding Woolf's totals to Funiciello's 11% and the 8% of undecided voters, Funiciello would have a chance to beat Stefanik on Election Day. Funiciello also pointed out that he is drawing evenly from all voters: 11% from Democrats, 9% from Republicans, and 14% from independents -- something Woolf simply cannot do.

"The latest poll results show the people of the 21st district want a native candidate not bought by corporate, out-of-state interests. My campaign's simple platform: single-payer healthcare for all, $15 living wage jobs, and the end of corporate welfare have resonated strongly with district voters. My inclusion in all three televised debates, along with district media fairly covering our campaign, have made an important difference in getting our message out. Voters of all stripes -- party or not -- now know they can and should vote for what they actually want -- a candidate that will represent their interests, and not those of corporations -- on Election Day, and they will get it. As I said in the debates: Be Brave, Vote Green!" said Funiciello.

"It's long past time for Aaron Woolf to walk across the REAL aisle -- the Green aisle -- and step aside, endorse me, and help put a real progressive in office for the 21st district. Aaron has spent hundreds of thousands of dollars and his numbers have simply stagnated. Voters understand he is a terrible, uninspiring candidate with no ideas on how to put our country on the right track. All that is left for him is to stand down, support me, and then make the movie he should have been making all along: Mr. Funiciello Goes To Washington. Wouldn't it be amazing to see a film about the first Green Congressperson? I think so, and with Aaron's help on November 4, we can make it a reality," concluded Funiciello.
