Congressman Mike Pompeo issued the following statement on the anniversary of the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001:

"We must never forget the lives lost on 9/11, nor the courage and resolve that brought our nation together in its wake. But just as we must never forget, we also must never give up. We are presented today with the very same kind of threat we saw after Sept. 11, 2001, that of unchecked radical jihadists seeking to destroy America. We must face these challenges as America always has: with strength and a commitment to victory."
