Today the Patrick Henry Hays campaign released a new television ad, "WASHINGTON WASTE."
The spot highlights how Mayor Hays cut wasteful spending through commonsense solutions, like putting all of North Little Rock's city services into one building -- an approach that allowed him to balance 24 budgets, cut the city's debt in half, and invest in job creation. Now, Mayor Hays is running to bring those same values to Washington, where politicians are wasting billions on unused properties, underused airports, and generating Facebook "likes."
Mayor Hays has RELEASED HIS 5 POINT PLAN to cut Washington's wasteful spending based off many of the solutions he practiced as Mayor, including streamlining wasteful duplication of programs and inefficient agencies.
Mayor Hays' new TV ad, Washington Waste
TRANSCRIPT:
Hays: I'm Patrick Henry Hays, and putting all of our city services in one building is one of the ways we balanced 24 budgets and cut our debt in half.
Hays: But Washington is doing the opposite. They're wasting billions on properties that they don't even use.
Hays: An airport in Minnesota with only two flights a week; A puppet festival on Long Island; They even spent $600,000 buying Facebook "likes."
Hays: I approved this ad, because it's no wonder that Congress doesn't have any real friends.
