Rep. Ed Perlmutter (CO-07) released this statement following the U.S. Supreme Court's decision not to review any of the same-sex marriage cases. The refusallegalizes same sex-marriage in five states, and clears the way for same-sex marriage in six more states, including Colorado:
"Today's news is a significant victory for marriage equality. I am pleased to see county clerks across the state will soon issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples providing the opportunity for all couples in Colorado the freedom to marry the person they love."
