New Grimes Television Ad: "Brent Spence Bridge"

Press Release

Date: Oct. 21, 2014
Location: Cincinnati, OH

Today, Alison for Kentucky begins airing a new 30-second television ad in Northern Kentucky entitled, "Brent Spence Bridge." The ad underscores Alison's pledge to rebuild the vital infrastructure link.

"Brent Spence Bridge" comes just days after Alison's joint press conference in Covington with Senator Sherrod Brown (D-Ohio). Alison recognizes the imperative of rebuilding the Brent Spence Bridge and is the only candidate to put forth an achievable, commonsense plan to accomplish that.

AD SCRIPT:

Alison Lundergan Grimes: I'm Alison Lundergan Grimes, and how long have we been hearing about the problems with the Brent Spence Bridge?

For decades, Mitch McConnell has done nothing. First, he said it wasn't his job then he supported tolls. And now he wants to underpay construction workers?

As your Senator, this will be my job.

I'll fight against tolls and we should never compromise safety with cheap wages.

I approve this message because Mitch McConnell has had 30-years to get this done.

We've waited long enough.
