Kurtz Campaign Is on TV

Press Release

Date: Oct. 8, 2014
Location: La Crosse, WI

Political newcomer Tony Kurtz upped the ante on 18 year incumbent Ron Kind on Wednesday, by launching the first television ads of the race.

The first ad, "Fix It" highlights Tony Kurtz's real life qualifications for Congress, including his 20 year service as an Army aviator and his experience as a farmer and small business owner. Whereas career politicians like Ron Kind have failed to fix America's problems, Kurtz pledges to put his experience to work to find solutions to the challenges we face.

The second ad, "Ron Kind Doesn't Represent Us Anymore" explains how after 18 years, Ron Kind has sold out his district's interests for the favor of special interests. The ad points out the fact that Kind receives 72% of his campaign contributions from Washington D.C. special interests, which could explain why he still defends the broken promises of Obamacare.

"These ads show the stark differences between me and Ron Kind," said Kurtz. "He's a creature of Washington who clings to legislation that is hurting working families. I'm not a career politician. I have real life experience, and I'm ready to get to work on the big problems on day 1. The choice is clear."

The ads will be airing throughout the district. For more information on Tony Kurtz, please visit www.KurtzforCongress.org.
