Sinema Receives Endorsement of Women Under 40 Pac

Press Release

The non-partisan Women Under 40 Political Action Committee (WUFPAC) today announced their support of Congresswoman Kyrsten Sinema's re- election campaign.
"I am proud to have the endorsement of the Women Under 40 Political Action Committee. I support paycheck fairness and oppose the Hobby Lobby decision because I know women in our district want a chance to provide for their families and make their own health care decisions," said Sinema.

"Sinema is known for her ability to work across the aisle to get things accomplished. She is committed to working on behalf of women and their families and giving everyone a fair opportunity to succeed," the organization said in their official endorsement statement. WUFPAC has supported female candidates in their campaigns for higher office across the country since 1999. The organization's goal is to bring greater gender equality and diversity to state houses and Congress. WUFPAC has assisted dozens of young female candidates in their campaigns for elected office.

Congresswoman Sinema fights for common sense solutions for Arizona families. She stood up when some in Congress tried to allow employers to deny coverage for basic women's health care like birth control. She took a lead role in fighting for the re-authorization of the Violence Against Women Act to protect women from abuse and provide legal resources to crackdown on abusers. Sinema is also a strong supporter of legislation to ensure paycheck fairness and expand child-care tax credits so working families can afford quality childcare without being penalized.
