Issue Position

Sean Parnell believes Alaska's resources should be used as energy for Alaskans. He knows that Alaskan families depend on having access to more affordable energy, and a strong and prosperous Alaska economy depends on access to more affordable energy for Alaska. Sean Parnell championed natural gas as an energy source for Alaskans, along with hydro and other renewable forms of energy. He championed the Interior Energy Project, the gas trucking solution for the Interior; he funded hydro projects in Southeast and for the Railbelt, and delivered on wind energy projects for Alaska's communities.
